Our database of 344 direct admit nursing programs/programs with select direct admit seats is searchable by size (small/medium/large) selectivity (high/moderate/less) and state. The database is updated quarterly and includes:
links to nursing program websites
minimum program GPA and test score requirements (if applicable) for admission
estimated costs of attendance (direct costs)
merit scholarship ranges
religious affiliation
location (city and state), selectivity and size
NCLEX pass rates
research on special programs
In the notes section, you will find information about technology, study abroad or service trips, NursingCAS (application) or special program requirements, and unique aspects of the program or campus.
There is no universal standard for selectivity but programs in the database have been categorized as less, moderate and highly selective. Less selective programs expect to see a GPA of ~ 3.0, without mention of rigor, moderately selective programs expect to see a GPA of ~3.3+ and some rigor (honors, IB, AP, dual enrollment) and highly selective programs expect to see GPA of 3.5+, with considerable rigor.

"The one thing that really helped was the database. Our daughter applied to a mix of programs based on her stats. As acceptances roll in, we are coming out as expected and she has great options."

"Having admissions criteria, direct links, merit ranges and some NCLEX pass rates all in one place saved us from visiting dozens of individual program websites—we could compare everything we needed in minutes instead of spending weeks hunting down information."

"We discovered a dozen smaller and midsize, affordable direct-admit BSN programs in neighboring states that we never would have found on our own."
